# Resource Comparison

This page allows you to analyse and compare multiple Internet number resources. You can view the same variable (dataset) for multiple resources at the same time.

How to compare resources:

  1. Select Widget Type: Choose the type of widget that best represents the data you wish to analyse. Widgets may include options like "Announced Prefixes," "ASN Neighbours," "Routing History," etc.
  2. Enter Resources: Input the resources you want to compare. These can be ASNs (e.g., AS3333), IPv4 addresses (e.g., 192.0.2.0), or IPv6 addresses (e.g., 2001:db8:😃. You can enter up to six resources for comparison.
  3. Start Comparison: After selecting the widget and entering the resources, the content area will automatically generate the comparative analysis. You can share your results using the share button. To start a new comparison, click on the “New Comparison” button.

# Consistency Comparison

This page allows you to analyse and compare the consistency of reverse DNS and routing data for specific Internet number resources, such as Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) or IP prefixes.

How to run a consistency check:

  1. Enter Resource: Input the ASN (e.g., AS3333) or IP prefix (e.g., 193.0.20.0/24) you want to analyse in the provided field.
  2. Start Comparison: After entering the resource, the content area will automatically generate a report detailing any inconsistencies found in reverse DNS and routing data for the specified resource. You can share your results using the share button. To start a new comparison, simply type in the new resource and hit ‘Enter’.

# Country Comparison

This page allows you to analyse and compare Internet routing statistics across multiple countries. How to make a country comparison:

  1. Enter the names or ISO country codes of up to four countries you wish to compare in the input fields provided.
  2. Initiate Comparison: After selecting the widget and entering the country codes, the tool will display interactive graphs showing the routing statistics for the selected countries. You can share your results using the share button. To start a new comparison, click on the “New Comparison” button.

# Registered IPv4 Prefix Size Distribution

This page offers an in-depth analysis of the distribution of IPv4 delegations across various /8 address blocks. The information you can collect is the total number of IPv4 delegations, including Provider Aggregated (PA) allocations, Provider Independent (PI) assignments, and legacy assignments of unspecified status, grouped by /8 address blocks. Each /8 block is detailed with the count of allocations and assignments for specific prefix sizes.

How to use the page: The main table displays /8 address blocks in the first column, followed by columns detailing the total number of allocations and assignments for each specific prefix size within that /8 block. To export the data, select your preferred format (JSON, YAML, or CSV) from the available download options.
